about

"The originally 'June Tune' was written and recorded in June 1980 with the EMS VCS3 Synthesizer, HOHNER Strings and my SOLINA Organ for the 'Flox3' / 'Android' Album. Four month later I played this version of the 'June Tune' live in Offenbach in the church of the 'Frei-Religiöse Gemeinde' as the middle part of a VELVET UNIVERSE gig.

I used the ARP Axxe Synthesizer with the ARP Sequencer and the ELECTRO HARMONIX Octave Multiplexer, a PolyMoog Keyboard, the EMS DK1 (aka 'The Cricklewood') for solo # 1, the MOOG Prodigy for solo # 2 and my HOHNER String Melody for the basic chords.

The sound was created by Bobb Sanders on the Allen & Heath 12/2 mixer with an ELECTRO HARMONIX Flanger deLuxe, the ING. SCHULTE 'Compact Phasing No. 1' Phaser and the MAESTRO Echoplex Echobox plus a HAMMOND Spring Reverb and the sound of the church.

I don't know why, but I didn't use the VCS3 for this 'June Tune', which was as well on stage."
